You don’t need to be in Northeast Ohio to support NICU families. Our nationwide volunteer opportunities are open to individuals, families, and groups across the country who want to help bring comfort and connection to families in the NICU. From sewing projects and virtual drives to becoming a trained peer support volunteer, your time and talents can extend hope to families far and wide.

Craft + Create

Empowering volunteers to create handmade symbols of love that help families feel connected during their NICU journey.

host a virtual care package drive

Lead a collection drive in your local community, neighborhood, school or organization to gather care package items, then ship them to Project NICU. We’ll take it from there, distributing them to families in hospitals across the country.

become a peer support team member

Are you a NICU parent or grandparent? Use your experience to walk alongside others by joining our Peer Support Team. Volunteers receive training and support from Project NICU to offer one-on-one emotional support to families during or after their NICU stay.
